Our First Game
Our first game and part of Paul's dissertation, Snowman Salvage, launches and goes on to get 2m viral hits.

Mediatonic Founded
Dave and Paul found Mediatonic during their last year at Brunel University, sneaking out of class to answer calls from 'the office.' Nerds.

2006 February
Our First Studio
We move into our first office, an old government building at Westminster, and face the daunting challenge of topping the success of Snowman Salvage.

Amateur Surgeon
Amateur Surgeon launches on Adult Swim and iOS, soon slicing its way to 100m plays online.

Flitcroft Street
With 25 heads we need more space to spread our dev wings. So we head to a converted warehouse near Covent Garden!

The Gagdet Show
We create Biker Blast-Off! as part of The Gagdet Show challenge and win! The game goes on to receive over 1.2m downloads on the App Store.

Must.Eat.Birds
Our first Mediatonic IP launches on the App Store, and becomes a top grossing hit on iOS that same year.

Studio Opens in Brighton
We open a new studio in sunny Brighton to operate as a digital media agency, which later evolves into Graphite.

Who's That Flying?
Our shoot 'em up meets tower defence game Who's That Flying? launches on PSP!

Amateur Surgeon 2
Amateur Surgeon 2 returns with 20 new surgeries, and plenty of new patients, proving out our solid commitment to scatalogical humour.

Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess
MPSMP releases for PSP and PS3 as one of the largest games to date on the Minis platform - hitting the 100mb limit.

First Funding
Kelly Sumner, Ian Livingstone CBE and Geoff Heath OBE invest in MT, allowing us to grow and try some new things with our games.

Amateur Surgeon Hospital
Amateur Surgeon Hospital gets nominated for a BAFTA! (Possibly the first and last time any of us have seen Paul and Dave in suits).

Moving to Soho
The Tonic Team (who'd eventually grow to 50 heads!) move to Soho and are overwhelmed with all the new lunch options.

Frog Capital adds further funds to Mediatonic, investing in the studio.

We partner with Devolver to bring out another original title, Foul Play - our largest game to date and our first full console title.

Amateur Surgeon 3 launches, ranking 2nd on the App Store and 1st on iPad.

Hatoful Boyfriend
We partner with Hato Moa and Devolver Digital to bring Hatoful Boyfriend to the west, which goes on to gain critical acclaim and launch a million bird puns.

The Irregular Corporation
Our sister studio and splendiferous publisher of niche titles officially opens its (digital) doors.

Heavenstrike Rivals
We partner with Square Enix on an exciting tactical mobile RPG, which even features characters from the beloved Final Fantasy world!

Cases from the Wizarding World
Our first movie tie-in game, Fantastic Beasts: Cases from the Wizarding World, launches on mobile!

We partner with Scopely to make New Yahtzee With Buddies, which makes the Top 40 US grossing mobile title its first year.

Fortitude Games
Previous Mediatonic writer and producer James Griffiths founds Fortitude Games in Guildford, after releasing The Sexy Brutale.

Madrid Studio Opens
It starts out as a joke with a few of our Spanish developers, but in the summer of 2017 we open up Mediatonic Madrid in the heart of the city!
